Mercedes Benz debuted the CLA Class at the show on Tuesday, January 8, 2018. The 2020 Mercedes CLA Coupe is due in showrooms late 2019.

Honda will introduce the Autonomous Work Vehicle and P.A.T.H. (Predicting Action of The Human) Bot at the show.

Russia's search giant Yandex announced that they will be offering free driverless rides as a demo of their autonomous Yandex taxi service. The free rides mark the first time the Yandex self-driving car will be providing rides outside of Russia.
